Role of Board of Directors:

The Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority is governed by a six-member Board of Directors, which includes three Commissioners from Port of Chelan County and three Commissioners from Port of Douglas County. Each Commissioner is elected by the public to a six-year term. These six elected officials are responsible for:

  • Representing public interests

  • Setting port policy

  • Determining program direction

  • Setting long and short range goals

  • Approving the budget

  • Assisting with leadership development of the organization
