You have questions? We have answers. Below are answers to some of the most common questions about Pangborn Memorial Airport.

    • 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure for customers traveling to an international destination (with or without checked luggage).

    • 75 minutes prior to scheduled departure for customers traveling domestically with checked luggage.

    • 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure for customers traveling domestically without checked luggage.

    Note: both our ticket counter and kiosk close for check-in 40 minutes prior to departure.

  • No.  Pangborn Airport does not exchange currency.  The closest airport for currency exchange is SEATAC located in Seattle, WA.  Please click the link below to find out where.

  • The terminal hours are 10:30pm – 6:00pm.

  • Long-term parking is $10 per 24-hour period. Short-term parking is free for the first 4 hours and $13 for 24 hours. For more information, click here.

  • In the event you arrive at the airport without valid identification, because it is lost or at home, you may still be allowed to fly. The TSA officer may ask you to complete a form to include your name and current address, and may ask additional questions to confirm your identity. If your identity is confirmed, you will be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint. You may be subject to additional screening.

    You will not be allowed to fly if your identity cannot be confirmed, you chose to not provide proper identification or you decline to cooperate with the identity verification process.

  • Currently, Alaska/Horizon Airline is the only airline flying into Pangborn Airport.

  • TSA does not require children under 18 to provide identification when traveling with a companion within the United States. Contact the airline for questions regarding specific ID requirements for travelers under 18.

  • Check-in times:

    • International travel (with or without checked luggage): 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure

    • Domestic travel with checked luggage: 75 minutes prior to scheduled departure

    • Domestic travel without checked luggage: 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure

    The ticket counter and KIOSK close 40 minutes prior to departure.

  • You are allowed 1 carry-on bag, plus one personal item, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop computer. Airlines are becoming stricter in enforcing regulations limiting the size of carry-on luggage, and there is a maximum weight of 50 lbs. per checked bag.   • As is the case at all airports, extreme weather conditions may cancel flights. If the weather is marginal, the flight may not be canceled until scheduled departure or later. It is necessary to present yourself at the ticket counter or contact your airline to preserve your ticket rights. Alaska Airline’s toll-free information number (1.800.252.7522) will report flight cancellations and has “real time” information on the status of flights at airports it serves. You can also visit the airline’s website at alaskaair.com to check flight status or sign up for travel alerts that are texted directly to your phone.
